 There were many occasions when Armida was given the opportunity to buy a beauty salon with her passion for entrepreneurship. Her aunt always encouraged her to acquire it and insisted that she could count on her to provide the Dominican styles, “I’ll help you get started.” “I’ll help you move forward.”

Armida was offered a good deal in the Bronx. “I consulted with my mentor, my dad, and when he asked me, Do you know how to run a beauty salon? I said no. Decline the offer.”, Armida described.

He advised that you should never get involved in something you don’t know. “He had a point because that’s how businesses were run back then”, she reflected, affirming that God’s timing is perfect.

In 2013, Rafaelina passed away. Although she didn’t speak much about it, Armida continued with her dream to make the American beauty salon her aunt wanted into a reality.

In 2018, she pushed herself to organize a makeup course, and with an attendance of 40 people, when only 10 were expected, she received a sign from the Universe🌟. “I had to follow the dream of the wonderful businesswoman my aunt was.”

Today her legacy exists. It comes from this visionary woman who educated her daughters with values ​​and foundations. “Aunt Rafa was a second mother to me, a master of aesthetics. She trained many to work in the United States.”

Armida acquired the business location. She owns the salon, which has been in the same place for 52 years, with loyal customers, an experienced team, and a history forever linked to her roots.
